Real-world data sources for you to integrate into your lesson plans. Many of these data sets come from the Applications and Nspirations video series.

In Algebra Applications: Quadratic Functions, growth chart data from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) are used to generate quadratic regression models. These growth charts track the weight and height of infants and toddlers. Because of the dramatic growth from infancy to toddlerhood, this data set provides ideal opportunities for data analysis. The data sets for length are reproduced here. For more information (and more data charts) go to http://www.cdc.gov/GrowthCharts
